Times Square Alliance and Countdown Entertainment, the co-organizers of New Year's Eve in Times Square unveiled a new Times Square New Year's Eve Ball at a press conference last month at Hudson Scenic Studio in Yonkers, New York. The 12' geodesic sphere is twice the size of the previous versions and weighs a whopping 11,875lbs.
