On Friday evening, September 17, 2004, Dance Theater Workshop, Danspace Project, and The Joyce Theater with the 2004 Bessies Committee, presented the Twentieth Annual New York Dance and Performance Awards (a.k.a. The Bessies) for exceptional achievements of the 2003-2004 season. This year’s evening of celebration and performance took place at The Joyce Theater.
